THE RIT FAMILY OF PRODUCTS: Version 7.01
RIT's new software update, the RIT Family of Products - Version 7.01 will be released in the Fall of 2026. Customers in-support with our Product Maintenance Program (PMP) will be able to easily download the update for free online. This update will be available for all software product packages, including: RIT Complete, RIT Classic, RITG135, RITG142, RITG148+, RIT Film, Radia Therapy, and Radia Diagnostic.

Varian® Users
Targeted Varian Leaf Speed Analysis
The Varian Leaf Speed Test measures the dose delivered during the exposure with your EPID, and in this latest update, we’ve added the ability to specifically target and select which leaves will be analyzed. This allows you to focus your analysis on the leaves that are most critical to your patient treatments, while still maintaining the option for full leaf analysis whenever you need it.
Automated Gantry Retrieval for RapidArc® QA
For RapidArc® Test 0.1, the software will now automatically retrieve the gantry angles from the DICOM header, if available. This automated addition is intended to improve your workflow and reduce any potential entry errors.

Expanded Varian Leaf Speed Compatibility
The Varian Leaf Speed analysis has been upgraded to support the HD120 high-definition MLC, ensuring full compatibility alongside the Millennium 120 MLC.
Isocenter Optimization
Isocenter Optimization 3D Axis Projection Detail Plot
A new 3D axis projection detail plot has been added to RIT’s popular Isocenter Optimization (3D Winston-Lutz) routine for improved data visualization and easy identification data discrepancies. Now, X, Y, Z projection data is displayed collectively in a single 3D plot for a comprehensive display of any potential machine deviations.
Easily rotate and tilt the plot to inspect different perspectives and gain insights into your results.

Program Files & Program Data Directory Installation
Version 7.01 has many new cybersecurity improvements to help protect your facility and your data. The most significant improvement in this update is the ability to install the RIT Family of Products in the Program Files and Program Data directories. After the initial installation in this location, this reduces the privileges needed to run the software and puts the software in a safer environment. Backups run more efficiently with ease as the data that changes (like Preferences, Tolerances, and other read/write files) are located in the Program Data\RIT directory.
With every new update, RIT continues to enhance our software’s security features, reinforcing our commitment to maintaining best practices in cybersecurity. Our elevated standards and focus on staying up to date are intended to help safeguard your data and give you peace of mind with your QA software investment.
