Radiological Imaging Technology provides medical physicists with an all-encompassing range of industry-leading QA software solutions, specifically engineered to ensure proper compliance with established protocols within the fields of therapeutic and diagnostic physics. RIT’s convenient packages include patient, machine and imaging QA for linear accelerators (TG-142), comprehensive routines for TomoTherapy® (TG-148) and CyberKnife® (TG-135), and automated phantom analysis for diagnostic imaging.


Isocenter Optimization (3D Winston-Lutz) Routine

The RIT Family of Products come equipped with an automated 3D Winston-Lutz routine to give you a fast and accurate measurement of isocenter accuracy, allowing you to optimize your SRS/SBRT delivery. Automatically process a range of 3 to 16 EPID Winston-Lutz images for fast, sub-pixel level accuracy of isocenter position. This routine allows physicists to perform daily or patient-specific analyses using specific clinical treatment angles. Using only a set of EPID Winston-Lutz images, the RIT system will calculate deviations between radiation and mechanical isocenter, determine ball/BB setup error, and suggest couch alignment adjustments to optimize your system’s accuracy.


RIT for Accuray - TG-148 and TG-135 Capabilities

RIT software can perform machine QA on Accuray machines, including a comprehensive test suite for helical TomoTherapy® machines like Radixact®, in accordance with TG-148, and a comprehensive test suite for robotic radiosurgery machines like CyberKnife®, in accordance with TG-135. RIT Complete features our TomoTherapy Registration routine, where you can easily perform exact dose comparisons for TomoTherapy® Patient QA. The innovative wizard uses a TomoTherapy® plan, a dose map, and a film to determine position and dose accuracy, using the red or green lasers.


Imaging QA Features with Radia

Included in the RIT Family of Products are Radia Therapy and Radia diagnostic, which allow you to analyze images from therapeutic and diagnostic phantoms. Radia Therapy provides fast, robust, and accurate analysis of all imaging tests recommended in TG-142. Easily automate your LINAC image QA and get quantitative, repeatable analysis for all tests. Radia Diagnostic provides automated phantom analysis in seconds. These simple, easy to use tools provide complete scoring of all phantom parameters with precision and accuracy. Full reports of all imaging tests are easily generated, and results can be automatically tracked with RITtrend™.
